The great thing about Border's free book program is that the free book selection surpasses what was available back many years ago when my children first joined these summer reading programs. Barnes and Noble Free Book
Barnes and Noble also provides a free book program for kids come july 1st. Children who supply the titles of 8 books they've read may select a selection of 28 books directed at audiences from preschool through grade 6. Among the free books on Barnes and Nobles' list are The Cricket in Times Square by George Selden, Mrs. Frisby as well as the Rats of NIMH by Robert C. O'Brien, and My Last Best Friend by Julie Bowe.

For kids getting out of school with good grades come early july, Blockbuster offers a free movie rental. To qualify, kids must bring an investigation card demonstrating a B or satisfactory average to some participating Blockbusters location within four weeks of receiving the report card.

Elementary and middle school age kids who achieved 3 A grades on their own final report card for your school year can obtain a personal pan pizza and small drink with a participating Pizza Hut location.
Krispy Kreme Free Donughnuts for As
The more As on that final school report card, the more free doughnuts your child can bring home from Krispy Kreme come early july, as much as 6.
IBC Bakery Goodies for Good Grades
IBC bakeries give a baked good to kids whose final report card for your school year shows good grades. Check the IBC website for participating bakeries.
Topps Top with the Class Rewards
For a non-edible good grades award, try the Topps Top from the Class program which provides kids a free trading card upon presenting their report cards. The Topps website lists the Topps locations by state.
